Lieut F. W. Pryor Lieut. F. W. Pryor came to the School House in May, 1911, but left in 1913, in order to join the Hon. Rupert Guinness’s Agricultural School at Woking. When the war broke out he obtained, at a very early age, a commission in the Royal Irish Rifles, and in due course was drafted out to Salonica, and attached to the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.

He was twice wounded, bravely directing the fire of his men, under a heavy enfilade. He was removed to hospital, but succumbed to his wounds on September 12th, 1916
