We do not have any section within the web site that invites or permits the entry of comments or graphics/images.

To the best of our knowledge, this site does not collect cookies, though there may be code in WordPress we are not aware of that does for efficiency reasons.

We do not include embedded content, e.g. videos, images, articles, etc. (Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website). We use Google Analytics to monitor which areas of the web site attract most interest. This allows us to manage the site to increase its value to those interested in the village. The data is only shared with the St Bees Parish Council, the owners of the site.

If you choose to contact us via any forms on this site or directly via email, that information will only be used to answer your query. We may, depending on the query, pass the query on to individuals or organisations who we think are best placed to answer your question.

The purpose of this site is pure and simply to spread information about St Bees village. We have no interest in any information that may be gathered in the process of doing this via cookies, or other means, other than that mentioned above.
